Long-Term Vision and Exit Strategies

At Hadrian's Lover, our primary focus is on creating a sustainable, community-driven business that will have a lasting positive impact on the LGBTQIA+ community in Manchester. While we are committed to the long-term growth and success of the business, we also understand that investors may be interested in potential exit strategies.

Given our strong commitment to maintaining the autonomy and community-focused nature of Hadrian's Lover, we are exploring the following exit strategies that align with our values:

Cooperative Ownership

We may consider transitioning Hadrian's Lover into a cooperative ownership model, where the business would be owned and democratically controlled by its members, employees, or the local LGBTQIA+ community. This approach would ensure that the business remains true to its mission and values.

Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)

Another option is to implement an ESOP, which would allow employees to acquire ownership in the company over time. This exit strategy would enable a gradual transfer of ownership to passionate employees who are committed to the business's mission.

Reinvestment and Long-Term Sustainable Growth

Alternatively, we may choose to focus on long-term sustainable growth and reinvestment in the community, generating sufficient profits to support ongoing operations, expansion, and community initiatives. This approach would prioritise the lasting impact and stability of Hadrian's Lover over a traditional exit.

We believe that these exit strategies align with our vision for Hadrian's Lover and provide a balanced approach to generating investor returns while preserving the community-focused nature of the business.

We have so many exciting things going on, be the first to find out!
